Eas Mòr

The inspiration for this tune came whilst putting together the IDPB Pre-Worlds concert, A Night in That Land. The first set was based around G. S. McLennan's masterpiece The Little Cascde and Eas Mòr was written with this in mind. Using the various minor keys available to us on the pipe scale gives it the haunting and atmospheric feel I was looking for. Eas Mòr ("Big Waterfall" in English) is a stream that runs alongside the Puck's Glen walking trail near Dunoon.
