This is a perfect introductory 2/4 March for lower grade bands and is included on the RSPBA's MAP Tune list for competitions. Clear defined phrases and "lighter" finger technique means beginners can really work on bringing out the music without getting to bogged down in the more intricate rhythms we find in advanced tunes.
